Simple Dough Recipe

I always use the same recipe no matter what pizza I'm making at home.

  1. Put 2 cups of warm water in bowl

  2. Add yeast and oil

  3. Wait for 5 minutes until you see bubbles

  4. In a separate bowl mix your salt and flour well

  5. Pour your wet ingredients into your dry ingredients

  6. Mix to combine until you have a sticky dough ball. Add more flour if it gets too sticky to handle.

This recipe makes 4 small pizzas. I like to split the batch into 4 quarters, make balls out of them, put olive oil in a container and place each ball into their separate containers and cover.


At this point you can either place the dough in the fridge and wait 24 hours for it to rise. If you want to use it right now then put the dough in a warm place for at least 2 hours. You can put it in the sun outside if you want.


Once the dough rises, you're ready to make pizza.
